| Can I tile to floor board? |
| It is possible to tile to floor board if it is properly secured. A much better finish is achieved if floor board is covered with ply-wood, then tiled. |
| Do I need to buy the tiles, adhesive and grout myself? |
| We offer a tile buying service to enable our clients to benefit from our trade discount; our favourite stores are Steve’s Ceramics in Workington etc. If you buy the tiles your self it is worth seeking advice about the adhesive and grout that should be used. Savings can often be made on adhesives; the consumer brands that are available in DIY stores don’t always offer the best value for money. |
